Reekado Banks was conceived on December 6, 1993 in Lagos, Nigeria. He comes from a musical family. His mother works in a catering company and his father is a pastor. Reekado attended the University of Lagos and got his degree in history and strategic study. He was very passionate about music from a young age. His brother produced his early songs and gave him a break.

Career

Reekado Banks started his distinguished career by signing with Mavin Records. He was chosen from over 5,00 contestants. In 2014, he released his first song Turn It Up which was a blistering success.
