Early Life

Post’s father, Rich Post, who raised him along with his stepmother, Jodie Post, was a disc jockey during his youth years and introduced Post to various music genres including rock, country, and hip-hop.

At the age of 9, the family moved to Texas as Rich Post became the manager of Dallas Cowboys. Post Malone auditioned for “Crown the Empire” in 2010 but got rejected as his guitar strings broke.
