Osas Ighodaro Biography

Osariemen Martha Elizabeth Ighodaro was conceived on October 26, 1990 in the USA. Her parents immigrated from Nigeria to America. She enrolled in Pennsylvania State University to receive a degree in broadcasting journalism. then, Osas attended Pace University and got her Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Actors Studio Drama School.

Career

At the age of 20, Osas Ighodaro became Miss Black USA. She was the first Nigerian woman to win this beauty pageant. She moved to Nigeria for some time and during her stay, she got cast in the TV series Tinsel. Her performance was positively received and she stayed in Nigeria to work in movies.

In 2006, she made her film debut in Hookers in Revolt. Her next movie Killa Season boosted her career and she got better roles to play. Audiences loved her in Notorious and The Tested. Besides appearing in movies, she is also a TV presenter and a host.
