In the year 2014, at the ceremony of Channel O Music Video Awards, Phyno was nominated for the award of Most Gifted Hip-hop for his work on Alobam. At the City People Entertainment Awards, in the year 2014, he won the prize for Rap Artiste of the Year and his album ‘No Guts No Glory’ got nominated for Rap Album of the Year.
In 2013, he got nominated for Best Collabo of the Year for his work on Ghost Mode (which was featuring Olamide). He had released that single before his debut album was released. At the Nigeria Entertainment Awards, he was nominated for Best Rap Act of the Year and Best Rap Act of the Year.
Previously at 2013, at the same event, he had won the award for Best Collabo for his work on “Ghost Mode”. At the African Muzik Magazine Awards, he was nominated for Best Newcomer and Best Rap Act.
