Lil Uzi Vert managed to hit the Hot 100 songs list with 3 of his songs, including his most famous song “Bad and Boujee” featuring Migos that remained on the number 1 spot at the Billboard Hot 100 for many weeks. And because of such success Forbes even named him in the Hip Hop Cash Prince list in 2017.
Lil Uzi Vert was an underground artist for almost a year, but thanks to his single that caught the attention of the Philly music producer Don Cannon. He was then introduced to DJ drama through Don Cannon, and they both decided to sign him up for their music label, which was an imprint of the Atlantic Records.
Uzi got his big break when he was featured in the track produced by DJ Carnage, Rich the Kid and A$AP Ferg “WDYW”. Uzi’s rap music is heavily influenced by Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Pharrell Williams.
