Despite his obvious attraction to music, he did finish his studies and actually procured a job in Google as well.

Simultaneously, he tried to kick-start his music career by writing songs and trying to get a fan following through the internet. Right from the start, he was a frat-rapper. During his graduation years at the University of Pennsylvania, he attended an Alpha Epsilon Pi-hosted party. There he has a life-turning meeting with producer RJF who later facilitated his job at Google.

But his popularity breakthrough came in 2010 when his popular track “You Are Not a Robot” featured in the popular mixtape Pep Rally (2009).

Hoodie released other mixtapes in 2011 and 2013. In the middle of all this, he toured across the entire States immediately following his official debut in 2012 with the All American EP in 2012. This gave his career the boost he craved. ‘People Keep Talking’ was his debut album which was released in the year 2014. This soon followed his second album, ‘Happy Camper ‘in 2016. On the personal side, since he has just started his career recently and lacks the appropriate wealth, he avoids charity.

Some of his most famous songs are All about it, No Interruption, Dumb for you, Two Lips, You are not a robot, The chase is on, Surprise Party, Movie, Come Around, Cake Boy, Are U having any fun, Small Town, Won’t Mind, Dreams Up, Ain’t Gotta Work, Remind Me of and Intro to Anxiety. As a Jewish person, Allen feels insecure and tries to avoid sensitive subjects and taking part in political discussions on Palestine, Israel, etc. In his love life, he had been in a relationship with Taryn Elyssa for four years but unfortunately, they got separated in 2015. Like all young people, he is prominently active on social media.
