D’Prince Biography

D’Prince aka Charles Enebeli was conceived on 23 October 1986 in Lagos, Nigeria. He was born into a musical family. His father was a legendary businessman and CEO of Sagittarius Productions. His mother was an International businesswoman.

His brother Don Jazzy is also a big music producer and founder of Mavin Records. D’Prince went to Kin’s College to get his West African Senior Certificate. Charles was always passionate about music and wanted to pursue a career in it.

Career

D’Prince started his successful career in 2005 by joining his brother and D’banj’s record Mo’ Hits Records. He released several songs in 2007 which brought him recognition and fame. When D’banj distanced himself from the label, Don jazzy changed the label’s name to Mavin Record in 2012. D’Prince worked with his brother to promote the label.

In 2012, D’Prince released his first album titled Frenzy which was a success. In 2020, he launched his extended play titled Focused which was positively received. In 2015, he and his partner Sharon Oparacho had a lovely child. In 2015, they were blessed with another child. D’Prince has worked really hard in his career due to which he is one of the most influential and successful African artists.

Some of his famous singles are Adaobi, Jantamanta, Dorubucci, Bestie, Lavida, All is in Order, Gucci Gang, My Pace, Sade, Call Police, Kwolity, Ife, Yeah yeah, True Love, Because of Love, Real G and Paining the Town.He has endorsed several brands such as MTN in 2011 and 2013.
